Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing HEMUJI. We carefully prepare and ship our solid wood furniture from China to customers in the United States.

Shipping Destination

HEMUJI currently ships furniture to eligible addresses within the contiguous United States and Washington, D.C.

We currently do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO military addresses, or other destinations outside our supported delivery areas.

Some remote or limited-access locations may require additional delivery confirmation. If we are unable to deliver to your address under our standard shipping service, we will contact you before shipment.

Order Preparation and Estimated Delivery

Solid wood furniture orders are typically delivered within approximately 8–13 weeks from the date of order.

This estimated timeframe includes order preparation, transportation to our shipping warehouse in China, international sea freight, customs clearance, and final delivery within the United States.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the destination, customs processing, weather, holidays, carrier schedules, port conditions, and other logistics circumstances.

Any product-specific preparation or delivery information will be stated on the relevant product page.

Complimentary Shipping

Complimentary shipping is included for eligible furniture orders shipped to addresses within our supported U.S. delivery areas.

There is no additional standard shipping charge at checkout for eligible orders.

For certain remote, limited-access, or otherwise difficult-to-service locations, delivery may require additional confirmation. If any additional charge or special delivery arrangement is required, we will contact you before proceeding.

Duties, Taxes and Customs Clearance

For orders shipped to the United States, customs clearance, import duties, and applicable import taxes are handled by HEMUJI and included in the amount paid for your order.

Customers will not normally be required to pay additional customs duties, import taxes, or customs clearance fees upon delivery.

If you receive an unexpected request for customs-related payment, please contact HEMUJI before making the payment so we can assist you.

Furniture Delivery

Orders are delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page or confirmed separately in writing, furniture delivery does not include assembly, installation, unpacking, placement inside the home, removal of packaging materials, or moving furniture to a specific room or floor.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and that doorways, hallways, elevators, stairways, and other access points are suitable for the dimensions of the furniture ordered.

Delivery Inspection

Please inspect the outer packaging and furniture as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery, and provide your order number along with clear photographs of the packaging and the affected item.

Please retain the original packaging while we review any shipping damage claim.

Order Tracking and Delivery Updates

Tracking or delivery information will be provided when available.

International furniture shipping involves multiple stages, including international transportation, customs clearance, and final-mile delivery. Tracking information may therefore not update continuously throughout the entire journey.

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us and we will assist with checking the shipment status.

Address Changes

Please carefully review your shipping address, telephone number, and contact information before placing your order.

If you need to change your delivery address, contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has entered production, preparation, or shipment, we cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be changed.

Additional costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer may be the customer's responsibility.

Returns

Shipping and delivery terms for returns are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

Please contact us before returning any furniture. Do not send an item back without receiving return instructions and the appropriate return address from HEMUJI.
